April 25 ‘Remember Me’ performance to be taped for PBS special
Parsons Dance and the East Village Opera Co. will perform “Remember Me,” a dance/rock opera on Saturday, April 25 at 7 p.m. at The Lycian Centre for the Performing Arts in Sugar Loaf. “Remember Me” made its world premiere in New York in January to sold-out audiences. This April 25 performance will be taped in front of a live audience, for broadcast in August as a public television pledge special with Boston’s WGBH-TV as the presenting television station. The audience will experience a behind-the-scenes look at the taping of a show and will be taped as part of the six-camera shoot. They must sign a release to allow their likeness and image to be seen. The performance may start, stop and repeat scenes, as needed. Tickets are $25 each, or $5 each when you bring a groupd of 10 or more. Tickets can be purchased at the Lycian box office or by calling 469-2287. For more information, visit parsonsdance.org; eastvillageoperacompany.com and lyciancentre.com.
